At home with Malo. Muse Lauren Eastough:
From a crisp minimalist aesthetic to life with her two littlest loves, we are "At Home" with Lauren Eastough @lowy_jade in Western Australia to talk all things style, travel and her obsession with perfume. And if you haven't checked out her insta yet, you should....Its a visual feast for the true minimalist chic!
We love your instagram, it's so chic! How would you describe your style?
Lauren: My style is light and comfortable. I love linen clothing, espcially in summer! I do pilates 3-6 times a week so majority of my time I am in pilates gear, leggins or crop tops.
Although i'd honestly go out in my PJs if it was acceptable! haha!
Do you have a favourite go-to clothing brand?
Lauren: I couldn't name just one brand as I have a few that I love to wear which include; Henne, Sir The Label, Lullaby Club, Zulu & Zephyr, Alo Yoga, Lottie Hall, Dissh, Cookie & Kin and Ease the Label.
You're mama to two gorgeous babes. What's been your favourite thing to do during lockdown?
Lauren: We have been very lucky in WA not to have been put into lockdown for more than 1-2weeks this year, so luckily life hasn't changed much for us. When we were in lockdown, I'd read to the kids more, bring out the playdough, board games and some drawing.
And of course "quiet time" on the couch watching the same Disney movies over and over again haha! Mainly Moana, Luca and Frozen.
If you had to choose, Australian beaches or Aussie bush?
Lauren: Aussie Beach! I'd love to visit Byron Bay one day.
My husband and I took a trip to Exmouth in WA a few years ago, and the water was just surreal.
We would love to take the kids one day, but for now they are too young for the long drive.
We are very lucky here in Australia to have such beautiful clean water.
Do you have a favourite perfume? How would you describe the scent?
Lauren: I've been wearing perfume since I was 14 years old, and in that time I have bought so many! I would go so far as to say it is one of my most favourite things to buy.
But my all-time favourite and one that I always go back to is Gypsy Water by Byredo. It smells woody with a hint of berries and vanilla.
